Installing the GammaContext Suite in NinjaTrader 8

This guide installs all three components at once: GCIGexLevels, GCIStrikeProfile, and GammaContext Gex Panel. They ship in a single package.

Prerequisites

• NinjaTrader 8 installed, on a recent version.
• An active GammaContext subscription (pro or algo plan). The free plan cannot generate an NT8 license Key.
• No Windows administrator permissions needed: it's the same standard import flow used by any NinjaTrader Add-On.

Step 1: Get Your Installation Package

1. Log in to the GammaContext portal.
2. Go to Integraciones → NinjaTrader 8.
3. Click the download button. The suite's .zip file downloads directly.

Note: the .zip you download is already protected and ready to import. Don't unzip it manually or edit its contents.

Step 2: Import the Package into NinjaTrader 8

1. Open NinjaTrader 8.
2. Go to Tools → Import → NinjaScript Add-On....
3. Select the .zip file you downloaded.

Step 3: Restart NinjaTrader

Close NinjaTrader completely and open it again. This is required: if you don't restart, the GammaContext Gex Panel add-on won't show up in the menu and it looks like the install failed.

Note: the NinjaScript editor's message saying it finished compiling does not replace this step. Compiling the editor and restarting NinjaTrader are two different things: without closing and reopening the full application, the panel's AddOn never gets registered.

Step 4: Find Each Component

The three components appear in different places in NT8:

Step 5: Add the Indicators to Your Chart

1. On the chart where you want to see them, right-click → Indicators.
2. Find GCIGexLevels or GCIStrikeProfile inside the GammaContext folder and double-click.
3. The parameters tab opens automatically. That's where you paste your Key (next guide: Activating with Your Key).
4. You can add both indicators to the same chart with no conflict between them.

Step 6: Open the Panel

1. In Control Center, go to New.
2. Select "GammaContext Panel" from the list.
3. A standalone floating window opens. You can move it to another screen or dock it next to your charts.
4. The panel is single-instance: if you click New → GammaContext Panel again while one is already open, NT8 focuses the existing window instead of opening a second one.
