GammaContext Gex Panel: Complete Reference Guide

By GammaContext · Product documentation

The GammaContext Gex Panel is a standalone floating window that summarizes the market context you see in the portal's Summary tab into four cards, no browser needed. Before continuing, activate your Key (activation guide).

Unlike GCIGexLevels and GCIStrikeProfile, the panel isn't added to a price chart: it opens as a separate window from Control Center → New.

Top Bar

Element What it does
KEY + Conectar (Connect) Paste your Key and connect the panel to your license
ACTIVO (Asset) Asset selector (NQ, ES, CL)
VENC. (Expiration) Expiration selector: 0DTE, 1DTE, or ALL
"En vivo" (Live) badge Shows the feed is connected and receiving data
"Último snapshot: hace Xs" (Last snapshot: Xs ago) How long since the last data received
Ajustes avanzados (Advanced settings) Collapsible panel with classification thresholds (see below)

The 4 Cards

Regime

Shows whether the market is in Long Gamma or Short Gamma, with:

  • Intensity bar: how strong the current regime is, on a 0-100 scale.
  • Net GEX: aggregated net gamma, expressed in thousands (K).
  • Distance to Flip: how many points separate the current price from the Gamma Flip level.

Bias

Shows the direction of real-time options flow:

  • Label: bullish, bearish, neutral, or undefined, based on options flow.
  • Dominance: whether the pressure comes more from calls or puts. When there isn't enough data to decide, the card shows a simple dash as a "no data" indicator.
  • In ALL expiration, this card shows "not available": bias depends on intraday flow, which doesn't exist outside 0DTE/1DTE.

Space

Shows the nearest level above and below the current price (Call Wall/Long Wall above, Put Wall/Short Fuel below), with the distance in points to each. In ALL expiration, it only shows the structural levels (Call Wall and Put Wall).

Max Change

A 6-cell heatmap (Now, 1m, 5m, 10m, 15m, 30m) showing the strike with the largest recent change and its magnitude in dollars ($X MM or $X.X Bn format), colored by sign. If data is missing for any of the 6 windows, the card shows none of them (all-or-nothing).

Veredicto (Verdict)

Reserved space inside the panel for a future feature. It's currently empty, with no logic or data.

Advanced Settings (Editable Thresholds)

Parameter Default What it controls
RegimeIntensityFullScale 50000 The Net GEX value that maps to 100% of the intensity bar
BiasBullishMin 500 The minimum threshold to classify bias as bullish or bearish
BiasNeutralBand 200 The band around zero classified as neutral bias

These thresholds recalibrate without recompiling the indicator, and they persist when you close and reopen NT8.

Single Instance

You can only have one panel window open at a time. If you click New → GammaContext Panel again while one is already open, NT8 focuses the existing window instead of opening a second one.

In Practice

If you see a message or a status you don't recognize in any of the three components, check Support and Troubleshooting.
